    19th Century French Carved Gilt Wood Pediment Mount Cornice
    A beautiful antique French carved wood pediment dating from the 19th century. This architectural mount has a gorgeous central crest surrounded by flowers. The pediment is beautifully water gilded on gesso. The gilding has subtle hints of the red bole base.
    Condition: It has had some worm over the years. Some gilded splinters. Repairs. One piece has been broken and stuck back. Please take a close look at the photos.
