Description
This is a great pediment that was salvaged from a York PA Victorian.
It is made of wood with the original metal flashing along the top.
The top is peaked with a crown molding and decorative scalloped moldings.
Across the body there is a great flat sawn scrollwork embellishment.
The cream colored paint is crackled and missing in places.
Measurements are 38.75 inches wide, 8.25 tall at the peak and 2.5 deep including the moldings.
Overall it is in good
co
ndition for spending 125 years outside.
There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. A couple small pieces of molding are missing. Please
look at the pictures carefully.

My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job!
