Leisegang Mirror Stereo 3D Viewer - Very unsual made in Germany 1980s

Description

I got this from an ophthalmologist who used it to view 3D slides of eyes taken with some kind of beamsplitter device.
It is really heavy and I have never seen anything like that before.
A kind ebayer informed me that it is a Leisegang viewer made in Germany in the 1980s.
A couple of issues
: Light does not come on (seems to be missing a spring in the flashlight-like body). A diffuser that is sitting behind the slide is missing. Still rare collectible and could be serviceable.
