    Description

    Close inspection shows one of the best repairs we have seen! A small hole was plugged and the design rebuilt by a talented individual. The 7 in the date, as well as the corresponding leaf on the reverse have been expertly rebuilt. If not for the lighter coloration in both areas, it could easily go unnoticed! A wonderful example of Early American coinage in spite of the “details”.
