Tested Bakelite Rare Vintage Aqua Green Swirl Graduated Olive Bead Necklace A1

This listing is for the gorgeous Simichrome-
tested
circa 1940s bakelite/catalin
beaded necklace pictured.
It almost seems to glow in the sun.
The beads are partially translucent (see photo 5 where the string can be seen through some of the beads) and partially opaque.
It is in great vintage condition; its
yellowing and
minor scratches are consistent with its age.
This necklace was possibly a shade of blue originally and developed more of a teal/sea green/aqua color by yellowing over time. It comes in the box that it is pictured in (see photos 3 and 8).
Please see all the photos for details. The last three photos show the positive Simichrome test as well as a size comparison with a dime and a color comparison between the aqua-green necklace and a more common green-swirl bakelite bangle (not included). Smoke-free home.
